Śrī Nāma Pracāra – Bhajana-gīta 3

 

In Śrī Surabhu-kuñja, at the end of performing nāma-saṅkīrtana, the following names are chanted and then daṇḍavat-praṇāma is given while chanting, “Haribol!”

(hare) haraye namaḥ kṛṣṇa yādavāya namaḥ
yādavāya mādhavāya keśavāya namaḥ
gopāla govinda rāma śrī-madhusūdana
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)

I offer obeisance unto Hari, Kṛṣṇa and Yādava (the Descendant of the Yadu Dynasty). I offer obeisance unto Yādava, Mādhava (the Husband of Mādhavi, the Goddess of fortune) and Keśava (the slayer of Keśi). O Gopāla (the Protector of the cows), Govinda (who gives pleasure to the cows), Rāma (the Supreme enjoyer) and Śrī Madhusūdana (the killer of Madhu). Chant “Radha-Govinda!”

guru-kṛpā jale nāśi’ viṣaya-anala
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)

Chant “Govinda! Govinda! Govinda!” Chant “Rādhā-Govinda!” The water of the guru’s mercy extinguishes the fire of worldly life! Chant “Rādhā-Govinda!”

kṛṣṇete arpiyā deha-gehādi sakala
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)
ananya-bhāvete citta kariyā sarala
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)

Offering one’s body, home etc. to Kṛṣṇa, chant “Rādhā-Govinda!” With a mood of exclusive devotion, make your heart simple and chant “Rādhā-Govinda!”

rūpānuga vaiṣṇavera piyā pada-jala
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)
dāśa aparādha tyaji’ bhukti-mukti-phala
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)

Drink the water from the feet of a Vaiṣṇava who follows in the footsteps of Śrī Rūpa, chanting, “Rādhā-Govinda!” Give up the ten offenses to the Holy Name, and the results stemming from bhukti and mukti, chanting, “Rādhā-Govinda!”

sakhīra caraṇa-reṇu kariyā sambala
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)
svarūpete vraja-vāse haiyā śītala
rādhā-govinda bala (4 times)

Make the dust from the feet of the sakhīs your only necessity and chant “Radha-Govinda!” In your spiritual form, live in Vraja and feel relief chanting, “Radha-Govinda!”
