Sectarianism

There is one true dharma in this world – its name is Vaiṣṇava dharma! As for all the other varieties of religion – within them diverse doctrines, disputes, mutual hostility, and the forceful ambition to establish one’s own sect run rampant. Those religions in which the proper relationship between jñāna, karma, bhakti, vairāgya, and prema has not been determined are full of deceit.

Mahāprabhu was naturally a soft-hearted person, though strong in His principles. He declared that party spirit and sectarianism were the two great enemies of progress.
