‘Śrī Caitanya-bhāgavata’ was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇi, Vol. 13 issue 1 in 1901. Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākur reviews a new edition of Śrī Caitanya Bhāgavata by Atula Kṛṣṇa Gosvāmī. While the Thākura is very happy for the most part with the publication, he also points out some defects.
‘Śrī Muralī Vilāsa’ was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol.6 issue 4 in 1894. Śrīla Bhaktivinoda discusses the book Muralī Vilāsa by Śrī Rāja-vallabha Gosvāmī, a descendant of Śrīla Vaṁśīvadanānanda Ṭhākura, and also explains the concept of kalpa-bheda in harmonising chronological inconsistencies in the ācārya’s works.
Śridhāma Navadvīpera Puratana Gañja (Puratana Gañja of Śrīdhāma Navadvīpa) was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī Vol. 7 issue 4 in 1895. Continuing from the previous two articles about the location of Kuliyā in Navasvīpa, Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura now turns his attention to the location of the real Śrīvāsa-aṅgana.
Yāhāke Samprati Navadvīpa Balena Tāhāi Aparādha-bhañjanera Pāṭa Kuliyā (What is Presently Called ‘Aparādha Bhañjanera Pāṭa’ in Kuliyā)
Yāhāke Samprati Navadvīpa Balena Tāhāi Aparādha-bhañjanera Pāṭa Kuliyā (What is Presently Called ‘Aparādha Bhañjanera Pāṭa’ in Kuliyā) was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇi, Vol.7 issue 3 in 1895. This was a follow-up article from issue 2 describing the location of the town of Kuliyā in Navadvīpa.
Aparādha-Bhañjana Pāṭa Kuliyā Kothāya (Where is Kuliyā Aparādha-Bhañjana Pāṭa?) was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol.7 issue 2 in 1895. Herein, Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura discusses the significance of the village of Kuliyā and establishes its true whereabouts.
Śrī Māyāpura Ki Ki Haiyeche? (What Has Happened in Śrī Māyāpura?) was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī Vol.5 issue 12 in 1893. Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura gives a summary of the upcoming Gaura Pūrṇīmā festival in Śrīdhāma Māyāpura including the installation of the Deities and the saṅkīrtana being held during the lunar eclipse that year.
‘Śrī Śrī Navadvīpa Dhāma’ was first published in Śrī Viṣṇupriyā Patrikā, Vol.2 issue 5 in 1891. This article was written just after Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura had published Śrī Navadvīpa Dhāma Māhātmya, and here, we find the Ṭhākura giving evidence for Māyāpura as the birthplace of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
In this short article ‘Śrīdhāma Māyāpura’ published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī Vol.5 issue 12 in 1893, Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura gives evidence from Bhakti Ratnākara to prove that Māyāpura is the birthplace of Śrī Caitanya, and invites the people of Bengal to attend the annual Gaura Pūrṇīmā festival that year.
