kabe ha’be hena daśā mora
tyaji’ jaḍa āśā vividha bandhana
chāḍiba saṁsāra ghora
When will my condition become such that, giving up material desires and various bonds, I will leave this terrible material existence?
(2)
vṛndāvanābhede navadvīpa-dhāme
bandhiba kuṭīra-khāni
śacīra nandana-caraṇa-āśraya
kariba sambandha māni’
In Navadvīpa, which is non-different from Vṛndāvana, I will build a small cottage. Recognising my relationship with Him, I will take shelter of the lotus feet of the Son of Śacī.

jāhnavī-puline cinmaya-kānane
vasi’ vijana-sthale
kṛṣṇa-nāmāmṛta nirantara piba
ḍākiba gauraṅga bale
Sitting in a solitary place in the spiritual forest on the bank of the Gaṅgā, I will constantly drink the nectar of Kṛṣṇa’s Name and call out “Gaurāṅga!”

hā gaura-nitāi torā duṭī bhāi
patita-janera bandhu
adhama patita āmi he durjana
hao more kṛpā-sindhu
O Gaura-Nitāi! You two brothers are the friends of the fallen. I am the most fallen and wicked – please become an ocean of mercy to me.

kāndite kāndite ṣola-krośa-dhāma
jāhnavī ubhaya kūle
bhramite bhramite kabhu bhāgya-phale
dekhi kichu taru-mūle
Weeping and weeping, I will wander throughout the sixteen-krośa abode on both banks of the Gaṅgā. Wandering and wandering, by some good fortune, I may see something beneath a tree.

hā hā manohara ki dekhinu āmi
baliyā mūrchita ha’ba
samvit pāiyā kāndiba gopane
smari duṅhu kṛpā-laba
“Oh! Oh! How beautiful! What have I seen?” Saying this I will fall unconscious. Regaining consciousness, I will weep in solitude, remembering the small drop of mercy of both of Them.
