śrī-guru-vaiṣṇava-kṛpā kata dine habe
upādhi-rahita-rati citte upajibe
After how many days will I attain the mercy of Śrī Guru and the Vaiṣṇavas? After how many days will spiritual affection, free from all material designations, awaken within my heart?

kabe siddha-deha mora haibe prakāśa
sakhī dekhāibe more yugala-vilāsa
When will my eternal spiritual body become manifest? When will a sakhī show me the pastimes of the Divine Couple?
(3)
dekhite dekhite rūpa haiba vātula
kadamba-kānane yā’ba tyaji’ jāti-kula
When, gazing again and again upon Their beauty, will I become divinely maddened? When, abandoning all concern for caste and family, will I run to the kadamba groves?
(4)
sveda kampa pulakāśru vaivarṇya pralaya
stambha svara-bheda kabe haibe udaya
When will the ecstatic symptoms arise within me – perspiration, trembling, standing of the hairs on end, tears, loss of bodily colour, fainting, becoming stunned, and a choked voice?
(5)
bhāvamaya vṛndāvana heriba nayane
sakhīra kiṅkarī ha’ye seviba du’jane
When will I behold Vṛndāvana saturated with bhāva? When, becoming a maidservant of the sakhīs, will I serve the Divine Couple?

kabe narottama saha sākṣāta haibe
kabe vā prārthanā-rasa citte praveśibe
When will I meet Narottama face to face? When will the rasa of his Prārthanā enter my heart?
(7)
caitanya-dāsera dāsa chāḍi’ anya rati
kara yuri’ māge āja śrī-caitanya-mati
Rejecting all other attachments, this servant of the servants of Śrī Caitanya folds his hands and begs today for his consciousness to be fixed on Śrī Caitanya.
