Nama-kīrtana (Chanting the Holy Names)

kali-kukkura-kadana yadi cāo (he)
kali-yuga-pāvana, kali-bhaya-nāśana
śrī-śacī-nandana gāo (he)
If you wish to drive away and destroy the dog of Kali, then sing the Names of Śrī Śacīnandana – O purifier of Kali-yuga! O destroyer of the fears brought by Kali!

gadādhara-madana, nitāiyera prāṇa-dhana
advaitera prapūjita gorā
nimāi viśvambhara, śrīvāsa-īśvara
bhakta-samūha-citta-corā
O delight of Gadādhara! O treasure of Nitāi’s life! O Lord worshiped by Advaita! O fair-complexioned Lord! O Nimāi! O sustainer of the universe! O Lord of Śrīvāsa! O thief of the hearts of all the devotees!

nadīyā-śaśadhara, māyāpura-īśvara
nāma-pravartana śūra
gṛhi-jana-śikṣaka, nyāsī-kula-nāyaka
mādhava rādhā-bhāva-pūra
O moon of Nadīyā! O Lord of Māyāpura! O inaugurator of the congregational chanting of the Holy Name! O heroic Lord! O teacher of the householders! O leader of the renounced order! O Mādhava! O one completely filled with the mood of Śrī Rādhā!

sārvabhauma-śodhana, gajapati-tāraṇa
rāmānanda-poṣaṇa vīra
rūpānanda-vardhana, sanātana-pālana
hari-dāsa-modana dhīra
O purifier of Sārvabhauma! O deliverer of the Gajapati king! O nourisher of Rāmānanda! O heroic Lord! O increaser of Rūpa’s bliss! O protector of Sanātana! O delight of Hari Dāsa! O grave and sober Lord!

vraja-rasa-bhāvana. duṣṭa-mana-śāsana
kapaṭī-vighātana kāma
śuddha-bhakta-pālana, śuṣka-jana-tāḍana
chala-bhakti-dūṣaṇa rāma
O contemplator and relisher of vraja-rasa! O chastiser of the wicked mind! O destroyer of hypocrites! O all-attractive Lord! O protector of the pure devotees! O chastiser of dry, barren religionists! O condemner of deceitful bhakti! O supreme enjoyer!”
