śuno he rasika-jana, kṛṣṇa-guṇa agaṇana
ananta kahite nāhi pāre
kṛṣṇa jagatera guru, kṛṣṇa kalpa-taru
nāvika se bhava-pārābāre
O connoisseurs of rasa, hear of Kṛṣṇa’s unlimited qualities. No one can describe them fully. Kṛṣṇa is the guru of the universe. Kṛṣṇa is a desire-tree. He is the boatman who crosses the ocean of material existence.

hṛdaya-pīḍita yā’ra, kṛṣṇa cikitsaka tāra
bhava-roga nāśite catura
kṛṣṇa-bahirmukha-jane, premāmṛta-vitaraṇe
krame laya nija antaḥpura
For one whose heart is afflicted, Kṛṣṇa is the physician. He is expert in destroying the disease of material existence. To those who are averse to Him, He distributes the nectar of prema, gradually taking them back to His own abode.

karma-bandha jñāna-bandha, āveśe mānava andha
tāre kṛṣṇa karuṇā-sāgara
pada-padma-madhu diyā, andha-bhāva ghucāiyā
caraṇe karena anucāra
Bound by karma and jñāna, man is blinded by illusion. Kṛṣṇa is an ocean of mercy to them. Giving the honey of His lotus feet, He removes their blindness and makes them servants of His feet.

vidhi-mārga-rata-jane, svādhīnatā-ratna-dāne
rāga-mārge karāna praveśa
rāga-vaśa-vartī ha’ye, pārakīya-bhāvāśraye
labhe jīva kṛṣṇa-prema-āveśa
To those devoted to the path of vidhi (rules and regulations), He gives the jewel of independence and leads them onto the path of rāga (spontaneous devotion). Becoming controlled by love and taking shelter of pārakīya–bhāva, the jīva attains absorption in love for Kṛṣṇa.

premāmṛta-vāri-dhārā, sadā pāna-rata tāṅrā
kṛṣṇa tāṅhādera bandhu pati
sei saba vraja-jana, su-kalyāṇa-niketana
dīna-hīna vinodera (kedārera) gati
Those who are always drinking the continuous stream of the nectar of prema, for them Kṛṣṇa becomes friend and master. For residents of Vraja, He is the abode of all auspiciousness, and He is the shelter of the humble and fallen Bhaktivinoda.
