Kavi Rāma Prasāda (The Poet Rāma Prasāda) was published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol.7, Issue 7 in 1895. Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura talks about the famous Bengali Śākta poet, Rāma Prasāda, and notes how he performed sādhana at a place that was famous due to the presence of Gaura-Nityānanda.

In this review of a book by Candra-vinoda Pāla Chaudhuri, Ṭhākura Bhaktivinoda commends the author on his modern style of writing and explains the concept of sāragrāhi (the essence-seeker).
Śrī Śyāmānanda Gosvāmī
‘Śrī Śyāmānanda Gosvāmī’ was published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol.2, Issue 6 in 1885. Ṭhākura Bhaktivinoda gives a brief biography of Śyāmānanda Gosvāmī and finally calls upon the devotee community to give support so that Sajjana Toṣaṇī magazine may continue to publish the glories of great Vaiṣṇava personalities.

'Kali' was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol. 15, issue 1 in 1903. In this article Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura gives a detailed explanation of the four major vices of Kali-yuga and why they are impediments to pure bhakti.

Matsya-Māṁsa Bhojana (Eating Fish and Meat) was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol. 2, issue 8 in 1885. Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura explains why the young people of Bengal are taking to meat-eating and describes the three types of food in Vedic culture.

This article, ‘Śrī Parameśvarī Dāsa’ was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol. 2, issue 4 in 1885. Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura gives a brief biography of Nityānanda Prabhu’s associate, Śrī Parameśvarī Dāsa Ṭhākura.
An Assembly to Preserve the Bhakti Śāstra (Bhakti-śāstroddhāriṇī Sabhā)
Bhakti-śāstroddhāriṇī Sabhā (An Assembly to Preserve the Bhakti Śāstra) was published in Vol.1 of Sajjana Toṣaṇi in 1881. In this short article, Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura laments that the Royal Asiatic Society has not printed any respectable versions of the Bhakti Śāstra and suggests that a new assembly be created for that purpose.

Bhakti-siddhānta-viruddha o Rasābhāsa (Opposition to the Conclusions of Bhakti and Incompatible Rasa) was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇi Vol.6. Issue 2. In this article Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura writes about the various styles of rasa-kīrtana that orginated with Śrīnivāsa Ācārya, Narottama Dāsa Ṭhākura and Śyāmānanda Prabhu. He also discusses the so-called 'rasa-kīrtana' performed by professional kīrtaneers.
Śuddha Vaiṣṇava Paricaya (Recognising a Pure Vaiṣṇava)
Śuddha Vaiṣṇava Paricaya (Recognising a Pure Vaiṣṇava) was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol.1 in 1881. In this article, Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura deliberates upon pure Vaiṣṇava dharma in order to explain some of the characteristics of a pure devotee. He also discusses the various cults that arose after Mahāprabhu's disappearance that claim to be Vaiṣṇavas.
Bhakti Caitanya Candrikā
‘Bhakti Caitanya Candrikā’ was first published in Sajjana Toṣaṇī, Vol.1 in 1881. This is a review of a book called Bhakti Caitanya Candrikā by Chiranjeev Sharma. Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura points out the glaring defects of the author in presenting the life and teachings of Śrī Caitanya while adulterating them with impersonal philosophy.
