Bhajana Rahasya

Written in 1902 as a supplement to his Hari-nāma-cintāmaṇi, Bhajana Rahasya comprises eight chapters corresponding to the eight verses of Śrī Caitanya’s Śikṣāṣṭakam and the eternal pastimes of Rādhā-Govinda during the eight periods of the day, each chapter intended to be read during a three-hour period over the course of twenty-four hours. The Sanskrit verses quoted throughout are accompanied by Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura’s own Bengali verse renditions. This English translation is based on the original edition published by Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura from Bhakti Bhavan in Kolkata in 1902, subsequently serialised in his Sajjana Toṣaṇī journal in the same year.
