Originally a series of articles written by Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura for the third volume of Sajjana Toṣaṇī in 1886, this work distills the essence of Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī’s Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu into simple Bengali, covering the inherent nature of bhakti (bhakti-svarūpa), its semblance (bhakti-ābhāsa), its qualities (bhakti-svabhāva), and the qualifications needed to attain it (bhaktyādhikāra).
