Śrīman Mahāprabhura Śikṣā

by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura

translated by Swami Bhaktivijñāna Giri

Written in 1892, ŚrΔ«man Mahāprabhura Śikṣā (“The Teachings of ŚrΔ«man Mahāprabhu”) is one of Bhaktivinoda αΉ¬hākura’s most systematic works on the philosophy of ŚrΔ« Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Comprising eleven chapters, the text methodically examines the ten foundational philosophical principles expounded by ŚrΔ« Caitanya β€” known as the daΕ›a-mΕ«la β€” drawing primarily from the Caitanya-caritāmαΉ›ta as scriptural evidence. Through this framework Bhaktivinoda presents the essential conclusions of Gauḍīya VaiαΉ£αΉ‡avism in a clear and accessible manner, making this work an invaluable introduction to the theology of ŚrΔ« Caitanya for both the scholar and the sincere practitioner.
