Śrīman Mahāprabhura Śikṣā
by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura
translated by Swami Bhaktivijñāna Giri
Written in 1892, Śrīman Mahāprabhura Śikṣā (“The Teachings of Śrīman Mahāprabhu”) is one of Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura’s most systematic works on the philosophy of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Comprising eleven chapters, the text methodically examines the ten foundational philosophical principles expounded by Śrī Caitanya — known as the daśa-mūla — drawing primarily from the Caitanya-caritāmṛta as scriptural evidence. Through this framework Bhaktivinoda presents the essential conclusions of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇavism in a clear and accessible manner, making this work an invaluable introduction to the theology of Śrī Caitanya for both the scholar and the sincere practitioner.
